Places to visit in Bangalore city

Vidhan Soudha: The granite building towering over Cubbon park houses the Secretariat and the Legislative Assembly. Built in a Neo-Dravidian style, this is one of India's most magnificent public buildings. On Sunday evenings when floodlit, it presents a breathtaking picture. The building has a total plinth area of over 500,000 sq. ft spread through four stories.

Bull Temple: The temple built by Kempe Gowda, a typical example of the Dravidian-style temple, is situated in Basavanagudi. The temple has a huge monolithic bull 4.5m tall and 6m long. It is believed that the source of the river Vishwa Bharathi originates from the feet of the Nandi.

Karnataka folk Museum: Karnataka Folk Museum is located at a distance of 53 km approximately from the Bangalore city of India. Spread over an area of 15 acres. This museum is managed by Karnataka Janapada Trust. This folk museum was set up to promote the diverse folk life of Karnataka city. It is one of the most visited tourist destination of Bangalore It has a rich collection of Karnataka folk music and videotapes of folk dances and many more things. Other items displayed in the museum comprise of unique colorful artifacts, masks and costumes.

Usoor Lake: Located in the old cantonment area, it was a place of prominence in the early years of last century. Extended over an area of 125 acres, the lake was constructed in the 2nd century by Kempe Gowda II. It was the most well kept and a beautiful man-made lake in Bangalore city. It is a major tourist attraction and has a boat club too. It is located at Northeastern fringes of the city on M.G road which is the most popular many shops and office premises are situated on this road. This road is well-connected to rest of the city to visit

  3. Hi i am fan of your blog ill read most of the time ur blogs...i went to bandipur national park with my parents really it was amazing in that forest we all enjoyed a lot and we stayed inBandipur Resorts it was very good to stay i wish to vist again and stay ther
